Indoor plants are experiencing a renaissance as population growth and housing unaffordability increase the number of people living in apartments. Growing up in the early 80s, indoor plants were common place in suburban homes of my childhood. I'm reminded of those interiors whenever I study my perfect fruit salad plant (Image 1). These photographs of indoor plants, taken in my small apartment, were inspired by the book Indoor Green by Bree Claffey.
